I was looking to purchase a laptop for no more than 900 bucks. I ended up coming to a crossroad between these two specific models. I was planning to do some semi serious gaming, watch movies, and do college/job work.
---Y580--- The Y580 has the gtx 660m, but only 1366x768p resolution. Price: $899

---Y500--- Custom order through Lenovo website: The only difference is I would upgrade the monitor to 1920x1080, but I also go down to a gt650m. I know gaming on at 1080p on a gt650m would require settings to be turned down a bit or even the resolution itself. Still, 1080p is nice for the occasional movie and real estate. Price: $880
So would you go for the Y580 or my custom Y500?
