Jonjo Shelvey was born and raised in Romford, England. His birth date is 27th February 1992. On the 3rd of January 2009, Shelvey became Charlton's youngest-ever goal-scorer, with a strike against Norwich City in the FA Cup, 54 days before his 17th birthday. On 6 January 2012, he scored his first senior goal for Liverpool in a 5–1 win in a third round FA Cup tie against Oldham Athletic at Anfield. On 8 May 2012, he scored his first Premier League goal for Liverpool from 30 yards in a 4–1 win over Chelsea whilst Ross Turnbull was out of his goal at Anfield.
