Does eyeshadow primer really help?

ok, my eyeshadow always looks really messy.. and i was wondering if primer really helps make it look nice.. and how much does it usually cost?? i get all my makeup from wallgreens but i cant ever find it there.. is their any drug store primers that work well? if so, what are they? or do i have to go to mac or something ,... lol ?

primer is great to make your shadow look more neat and vibrant. if you can't find any at the drugstore you can use concealer, that's what i use when i run out. i use the maybelline mineral power liquid stick stuff. haha. the primer i use though is urban decay.

yeah primer is a must have when wearing eyeshadow, i use elf's primer its like 3 dollars i think, you can get it online at there website or they sell it at target, obviously if you can afford to go to mac or sephora its better to invest your money in something like urban decay primer potion or too faced eyeshadow insurance. but i use elf and it works pretty good, you can also use nyx's jumbo eye pencils for a base or chapstick or concealer if you have to make do

I started using eyeshadow primer because my eyeshadow started getting really creased or oily looking and I will never again wear eyeshadow without it!
I was a little skeptical to use it at first because I wasn't sure how much it would work, but I absolutely can't go without it.
There are some Covergirl eyeshadows with built in primers now that work pretty well.
My very favorite primers are from Urban Decay though. You get them at Sephora or Ulta for about $18. Sounds like a bit much I know, but they last a really long time and go a long way.
The best part about it is the primers called Sin, and the one called Greed can be worn either with or without eyeshadow. I would recommend getting Sin.

i always wear an eye shadow primer before applying aye shadow. it helps removing creases that are the result of simply blinking and normal eye movements. Eyeshadow primer works to keep these creases from appearing and can also help to boost the vibrancy of the eyeshadow color...MAC has the best primer...

Yes, it works. It helps keep your eyeshadow on. It also makes it appear more vibrant.

The ELF eyeshadow primer costs $3 I think

The NYX one is I think near $20, it's pretty good, but not as good at the ELF one.

If you want a proper one I think the Urban Decay Primer Potion costs $25.
